Lauren Shuey, Bloomington's leader in stolen bases on the season, led the team again on Monday. Shuey made a splash, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. She was dominant the last time she took on Mt. Zion back in May of 2024, so they probably should've seen this coming. Shuey has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played.

Looking ahead, Shuey and Bloomington will square off against Rantoul at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Thanks in part to Shuey's efforts, the Purple Raiders will roll in on a five-game winning streak.
