Soccer Recap: Seguin Takes a Loss

Seguin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Highlands Owls. The Matadors were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Owls earlier this season, when they won 4-0.

Seguin's goal came courtesy of Madison Villanueva, who's now up to eight this season.

Seguin now has a losing record of 8-9-1. As for Highlands, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-9-1 record this season.

Seguin wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 4-0 victory against Burbank on the 10th. As for Highlands, they have also already played their next contest, a 1-0 win against Edison on the 10th.
