Volleyball Recap: St. Vincent De Paul Takes Down St. Bernard's in a Playoff Battle + How To Watch

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but St. Vincent de Paul had no problem doing just that on Saturday. Everything went their way against the St. Bernard's Crusaders as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Mustangs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Crusaders, too.

St. Vincent de Paul never let St. Bernard's on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-21, 27-25.

St. Vincent de Paul can attribute much of their success to Sam Sarlatte, who had 12 digs and three assists. That's the most assists Sarlatte has posted since back in October.

The win got St. Vincent de Paul back to even at 15-15. As for St. Bernard's, with the loss, they broke their six-match winning streak and moved their record to 17-10.

Coming up, St. Vincent de Paul will venture away from home to square off against Anderson Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Mustangs surely won't give up without a fight. St. Bernard's does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
