Volleyball Recap: Arcata Snags Fourth Victory in Last Five Games

Arcata won the last time they faced St. Vincent de Paul and things went their way on Saturday too. The Tigers walked away with a 2-0 win over the Mustangs.

Pearl Smith paced Arcata's offense, picking up 11 kills. Smith got some help from Harper Appy and her 17 assists. Nora Brumbaugh controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Arcata is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season. As for St. Vincent de Paul, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-10.

Arcata didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against San Rafael on the 4th.
