Baseball Recap: Maynard Tigers vs. West Boylston Lions

After flying high against Ayer Shirley on Wednesday, Maynard came back down to earth. The Tigers fell just short of the West Boylston Lions by a score of 7-6 on Friday. The Tigers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Lions earlier this season, when they won 9-0.

Max Mandler and Max Cedeno stepped up to the plate in a big way. Mandler got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs, one double, and one RBI, while Cedeno went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
