Basketball Recap: Aliso Niguel Falls Short of Dos Pueblos in the Playoffs

Aliso Niguel and Dos Pueblos squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Aliso Niguel had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Dos Pueblos Chargers by a score of 61-59. The Wolverines just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Aliso Niguel's loss dropped their record down to 19-10. As for Dos Pueblos, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 15-14 record this season.

Aliso Niguel does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Dos Pueblos, they will face off against Canyon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Canyon knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight matchups -- so hopefully Dos Pueblos likes a good challenge.
