North Raleigh Christian Academy put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 6-2 win over the Charlotte Country Day School Buccaneers. For the Knights, this counts as revenge for the 8-3 victory the Buccaneers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2022.

Jackson Rowlands made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (four). He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

In other batting news, Jackson Tysor was excellent, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. David Mertz was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two doubles and one RBI.

North Raleigh Christian Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Charlotte Country Day School only posted a batting average of .250.
