Baseball Recap: John Ehret Comes Up Short

John Ehret lost against Maurepas back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The John Ehret Patriots took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Maurepas Wolves. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

RAYON CRAFT was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing Five bases. while going 2-for-4. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in stolen bases. The team also got some help courtesy of DUSTIN WALKER, who scored a run and stole Four bases. while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

John Ehret's defeat dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Maurepas, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-9.

Looking ahead, John Ehret will challenge Riverdale at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Maurepas, they will venture away from home to face off against Family Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
