Softball Recap: Norfolk Academy Bulldogs vs. Atlantic Shores Christian Seahawks
After flying high against Catholic last Wednesday, Norfolk Academy came back down to earth. The Norfolk Academy Bulldogs' rough 22-1 defeat to the Atlantic Shores Christian Seahawks on Tuesday might stick with them for a while. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Norfolk Academy of the 11-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2023.
For Atlantic Shores Christian's part, Mylie McCoy made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned run or hits. McCoy was even better at the plate, going 2-for-2 with five RBI, three runs, and a triple.
