Holmes is 9-1 against Northeastern since November of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Aces will venture away from home to face off against the Eagles at 5:30 p.m. Holmes is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

On Wednesday, Holmes was able to grind out a solid win over Pamlico County, taking the game 3-1.

The final score came out to 25-8, 25-15, 23-25, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Northeastern came up short against Camden County on Wednesday, falling 3-0. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-13, 25-14.

Holmes' victory bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Northeastern, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Holmes took their win against Northeastern in their previous matchup last Monday by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Aces since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
