Basketball Recap: West Vikings vs. Highland Scots

West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss. They were beaten by the Highland Scots 82-48. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Scots apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2016.

Highland's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Frank Wright, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 16 boards. Wright has been hot, having posted nine or more rebounds the last eight times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Nehemiah Croney, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten boards.

West's loss dropped their record down to 1-21. As for Highland, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-11 record this season.
