Basketball Game Preview: Cedar Hill Longhorns vs. Waxahachie Indians

The Cedar Hill Longhorns will take on the Waxahachie Indians at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Cedar Hill picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They strolled past Wilson with points to spare, taking the game 71-52. Given the Longhorns' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 81st, while the Wildcats are ranked 326th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Waxahachie came up short against Benton on Monday and fell 69-62.

Waxahachie's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Cedar Hill, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season.

Things could have been worse for Cedar Hill, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 74-59 loss to Waxahachie in their previous matchup back in January.
