Basketball Recap: Batesville Comes Up Short

Batesville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 77-49 loss at the hands of the Marion Patriots. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 59-34 back in January.

Batesville's loss dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Marion, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-6 record this season.

Batesville will square off against Greene County Tech at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Marion, they will face off against Valley View at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
