Volleyball Recap: Airport Beats Bedford for Their Third Straight Win

Airport hadn't done well against Bedford recently (they were 0-7 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Jets had just enough and edged out the Kicking Mules 3-2. The win was nothing new for the Jets as they're now sitting on three straight.

Airport took Bedford into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-12, 18-25, 20-25, 16-14.

Despite the loss, Bedford still got an impressive performance from Kiersten Soss, who had ten digs. Soss is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last three games she's played. Lexie Morris also deserves some recognition as she had her first dig of the season.

Airport's victory bumped their record up to 22-4-1. As for Bedford, their loss dropped their record down to 20-12.

Looking ahead, Airport will welcome Trenton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bedford, they will venture away from home to face off against Chelsea at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
