Oak Hills has gone a perfect 10-0 against Middletown recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Highlanders will challenge the Middies at 6:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Oak Hills has three straight wins, Middletown has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

Oak Hills' defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. Everything went their way against Colerain as they made off with a 10-0 victory. Oak Hills' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three matchups.

Their offense was hitting Colerain from everywhere, as eight different players booted in a goal. Bella Dehner led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, Middletown fell victim to West Clermont and their airtight defense on Monday. They lost 4-0 to Wolves. While losing is never fun, Middletown can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 323rd, while West Clermont are ranked 91st).

Oak Hills' win bumped their record up to 10-1-3. As for Middletown, their loss dropped their record down to 5-8-1.

Everything went Oak Hills' way against Middletown in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as Oak Hills made off with a 10-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Highlanders since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
