Volleyball Game Preview: North Central Panthers vs. Fishers Tigers

North Central is 1-6 against Fishers since March of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Panthers will welcome the Tigers at 7:00 p.m.

North Central is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Indiana's top teams: Roncalli, who was ranked third at the time (North Central was ranked 25th). The Panthers came up short against the Royals on Wednesday, falling 3-0. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-20, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Fishers entered their tilt with Westfield on Thursday with ten consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with 11. They came out on top against the Shamrocks by a score of 3-1.

Fishers had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-22, 25-16, 25-21.

North Central's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Fishers, they pushed their record up to 13-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.
