Melba had lost three straight on the road, but on Thursday they dropped their record down to 4-10 to make it four. They lost 11-5 to the Wendell Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 22-5 back in March.

Olivia Atack was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. Kyla Harris was another key player, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with one stolen base.

As for Wendell, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-5. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won ten contests by six runs or more so far this season.

On Wendell's side, Breanna Comstock made a big impact no matter where she played.
