Basketball Recap: Edgerton Comes Up Short

If Edgerton was feeling good fresh off their 64-36 takedown of Hilltop last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Edgerton Bulldogs received a blow on Friday as they fell 47-33 to the Wayne Trace Raiders. The Bulldogs were not able to make up for their loss to the Raiders from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Edgerton's defeat dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Wayne Trace, their win bumped their record up to 11-8.

Coming up, Edgerton will challenge Ayersville at 7:30 p.m. on February 14th. As for Wayne Trace, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Jefferson at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
