Basketball Recap: Webster Groves Takes a Loss

Webster Groves lost against Cor Jesu Academy back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Webster Groves Statesmen took a 43-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cor Jesu Academy Chargers.

Webster Groves' defeat dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Cor Jesu Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which lines up perfectly with their 12-4 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Webster Groves will take on Seckman at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cor Jesu Academy, they will face off against Lutheran at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
