Basketball Recap: Hebron Academy Comes Up Short

Hebron Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Kents Hill School Huskies 94-40. The Lumberjacks lost against the Huskies in their previous head to head back in February of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 67-66 score last time.

The win (which was Kents Hill School's eighth in a row) raised their record to 15-2.

Hebron Academy will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Kents Hill School at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kents Hill School, they will head out to take on Brewster Academy Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Brewster Academy Prep knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 25 matchups -- so hopefully Kents Hill School likes a good challenge.
