Basketball Recap: Brashear Tigers vs. Heartland Christian Academy Eagles
Brashear lost to Heartland Christian Academy back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Tigers fell 59-51 to the Eagles. While the Tigers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Eagles 16-10 in the first quarter.
Heartland Christian Academy had a senior duo take command as Rylee Kiser posted 21 points and Titus Bock earned 18 points. The game was Bock's 19th in a row with at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Simeon Nickerson, who scored nine points.
Brashear has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season. As for Heartland Christian Academy, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 18-2.
