Soccer Recap: St. Charles Catholic Takes a Loss

If St. Charles Catholic was feeling good fresh off their 7-0 takedown of Chalmette last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The St. Charles Catholic Comets came up short against the E.D. White Cardinals on Monday, falling 8-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Comets of the 6-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2017.

St. Charles Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 12-4-2. As for E.D. White, their win bumped their record up to 11-8-2.

St. Charles Catholic will square off against Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for E.D. White, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the E.D. White face off against the Hahnville at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hahnville knows how to get goals on the board -- the squad has finished with four goals or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully E.D. White likes a good challenge.
