Volleyball Recap: Seminole Comes Up Short + How To Watch

If Seminole was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Tarpon Springs on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Warhawks fell just short of the Shorecrest Prep Chargers by a score of 3-2 on Wednesday. The Warhawks have struggled against the Chargers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Seminole took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 25-12, 20-25, 25-20, 15-8.

Shorecrest Prep was led to victory by Jesse Diner and Sara Ferris. Diner had 12 digs and four assists, while Ferris had 11 assists and four digs.

Seminole's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Shorecrest Prep, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.

Seminole wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Countryside on the 4th. As for Shorecrest Prep, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 loss against Keswick Christian on the 8th.
