Cameron has gone a perfect 7-0 against Unity recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Comets will look to defend their home field against the Eagles at 5:00 p.m. Cameron knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Unity likes a good challenge.
Cameron took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Barron with a sharp 13-3 victory. The Comets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by seven runs or more this season.
Emerson Krahenbuhl made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up three earned runs off five hits. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in May of 2025. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Meanwhile, Unity was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They came up short against St. Croix Falls, falling 13-1.
Unity saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Evelyn Fugate, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. Fugate is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played.

Unity's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Cameron hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .367. It's a different story for Unity, though, as they've only averaged .164. Will they be able to contain Cameron's hitters?
Cameron got the 'W' when the teams last played last Tuesday against Unity by a conclusive 9-2 score. Will the Comets repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
