Volleyball Game Preview: Millard Eagles vs. Grand County Red Devils

The Millard Eagles will square off against the Grand County Red Devils at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Millard will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Two weeks ago, Millard earned a 3-1 win over North Sevier.

Millard was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-17, 18-25, 25-17.

Meanwhile, two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Grand County walked away with it. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Eagles on Wednesday. The Red Devils not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since August 19th (when they won 3-0).

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Grand County took every set by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-12, 25-10.

Millard's victory bumped their record up to 19-7. As for Grand County, their win bumped their record up to 8-14.

Millard came up short against Grand County in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, falling 3-1. Can the Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
