Basketball Recap: Hatch Falls Short of Spring Garden in the Playoffs

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Hatch couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They were dealt an 81-34 loss at the hands of the Spring Garden Panthers on Sunday. While losing is never fun, the Bobcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 111th, while the Panthers are ranked 12th).

Hatch's defeat dropped their record down to 25-4. As for Spring Garden, the victory was the 20th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 35-1.

As of now, neither Hatch nor Spring Garden have any future games scheduled.
