Soccer Recap: Richland Comes Up Short

Richland and Sumrall squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Richland had to settle for second. They fell 3-1 to the Sumrall Bobcats. The Rangers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bobcats earlier this season, when they won 1-0.

Richland's loss dropped their record down to 15-7-2. As for Sumrall, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5-2 record this season.

Richland does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sumrall, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Sumrall challenge the Bay on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Bay comes in on four and Sumrall on three.
