Softball Recap: Triton Hawks vs. Western Harnett Eagles

Triton stacked a 13th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. Everything went their way against the Western Harnett Eagles as the Triton Hawks made off with a 20-2 win. Triton's hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Aubree Bass made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 14 batters over six innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. Bass has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in 12 consecutive pitching appearances. Bass was also big at the plate, going 4-for-5 with four RBI.

In other batting news, Takyra (TK) Mclean was a standout: she scored four runs while going 5-for-6. Bailey Johnson was another key contributor, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 4-for-6.
