Volleyball Recap: Dublin Scioto Comes Up Short

Dublin Scioto was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Dublin Coffman Rocks. If the Irish were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Rocks when the teams met back in May of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-20.

Sawyer Griffith paced Dublin Scioto's offense, picking up five kills. Griffith got some help from Henry Brandol and his nine assists.

Dublin Scioto's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Dublin Coffman, with the win, they broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 4-10.

Coincidentally, Dublin Scioto and Dublin Coffman will both be playing Dublin Jerome the next time they take the court. The Rocks will head out to face the Celtics at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Irish will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
