North Sanpete is a perfect 10-0 against Delta since May of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Hawks will venture away from home to take on the Rabbits at 3:00 p.m. North Sanpete is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.7 runs per game this season.
North Sanpete gave up the first runs last Wednesday, but they didn't let that get them down. They blew past Hunter 13-3. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Hawks considering their one-run performance the match before.

Shea Rawlinson was a major factor no matter where she played. She struck out nine batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits (and only one walk). Those nine strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with one triple and one RBI.
In other batting news, North Sanpete let Alivia Madsen and Mylee Cook run wild. Madsen scored three runs while going 3-for-5, while Cook scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-5. Cook is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played. Brooklyn Larson also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.
North Sanpete kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, Delta was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 10-4 to Juab.
Jaylie Taylor was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-4. Joslyn Christiansen was another key player, going 1-for-3 with three RBI and one stolen base.
North Sanpete is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.9 runs on average over those games. As for Delta, their loss dropped their record down to 1-15.
Delta's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: North Sanpete hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .318. It's a different story for Delta, though, as they've only averaged .240. Will they be able to contain North Sanpete's hitters?
Everything went North Sanpete's way against Delta in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, as North Sanpete made off with a 15-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hawks since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
