Softball Recap: Bradley Comes Up Short

Bradley managed to slip by Genoa Central the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Bradley Bears lost 16-8 to the Genoa Central Dragons on Monday. The Bears were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Dragons apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Bradley's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Genoa Central, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 8-1.

Bradley didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 17-0 win against Trinity Christian on the 18th. As for Genoa Central, they will take on Ouachita at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Ouachita has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed seven runs per game on average), something Genoa Central will no doubt try to take advantage of.
