Volleyball Recap: Pepperell Victorious

Pepperell posted their closest win since August 9th on Saturday. They won by a set and slipped past the Murray County Indians 2-1.

Brinkley Wheat went supernova, getting seven aces and four digs. What's more, she racked up 11 assists, the most she's had over her last seven matches. Haley Pomell also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

They weren't the only good server: Pepperell was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 17 aces. They are 4-1 when they serve at least ten aces.

The victory got Pepperell back to even at 7-7. As for Murray County, their loss dropped their record down to 5-6.

Pepperell has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Chattooga on the 23rd. As for Murray County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Model on the 26th.
