Basketball Recap: Findlay's Higher State Rank on Full Display on Saturday

Findlay won the last time they faced Memorial and things went their way on Saturday too. The Findlay Trojans came out on top against the Memorial Roughriders by a score of 41-34. Given the Trojans' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 189th, while the Roughriders are ranked 501st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win made it two in a row for Findlay and bumps their season record up to 7-2. As for Memorial, their defeat was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Findlay and Wapakoneta will round out the year against one another at at 12:00 p.m. on December 28th. As for Memorial, they will challenge Bellefontaine at 1:30 p.m. on December 28th.
