Basketball Recap: Lewis Central Takes a Loss

Lewis Central suffered their biggest loss since December 17, 2024 on Tuesday. They came up short against the Blair Bears, falling 47-26. The game marked the Titans' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Blair found their leader in freshman Beau Wendt, who posted 16 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Wendt has scored all season. Kate Wulf was another key player, putting up eight points.

Lewis Central now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Blair, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season.

Lewis Central will square off against Harlan at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Blair, they will face off against Seward at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
