Saline had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against the Brighton Bulldogs on Friday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The win was nothing new for the Hornets as they're now sitting on five straight.

While Saline won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-22, 25-14.

Simon Elkins paced Saline's offense, picking up 12 kills. Elkins got some help from Quinn Burns and his 30 assists.

Saline pushed their record up to 38-3-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Brighton, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5-2.

As of now, neither Saline nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
