Soccer Game Preview: Williston vs. Trinity Catholic + How To Watch

For the first time this season, Williston will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will challenge the Trinity Catholic Celtics at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Williston is coming into the matchup fresh off a high-scoring shootout with Suwannee that saw the pair combine for 22 shots on goal. The Red Devils and the Bulldogs finished up their match with a 3-3 draw last Friday. The game got a bit rough at times, as the refs handed out a total of three yellow cards before it was all over: Williston's Cole Francis - Landers and Suwannee's Josue Tellez and Andrew Hutcheson were all carded.

Miguel Gutierrez and Francis - Landers scored all three of Williston's goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.

Meanwhile, Trinity Catholic came up short against Vanguard last Friday and fell 3-1. Trinity Catholic haven't had much luck with Vanguard recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Trinity Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 3-1-2. Williston's draw makes their record 1-1-3 this season.

Williston took their victory against Trinity Catholic when the teams last played back in November of 2024 by a conclusive 5-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Red Devils since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
