There's no place like home for West Vigo, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 63-49 win over the Marshall Lions on Wednesday. For the Vikings, this counts as revenge for the 63-53 victory the Lions walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2024.

Despite the loss, Marshall still got an impressive performance from Payton McGuire, who went 8 of 19 to rack up 26 points and six boards. McGuire is also on a roll when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 40% in the last three games he's played. Trey Scott was another key player, putting up nine points and four steals.

West Vigo's win bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Marshall, their loss dropped their record down to 12-9.

West Vigo has already played their next game, a 60-37 victory against North Putnam on the 7th. As for Marshall, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 51-42 win against Newton on the 7th.
