Baseball Recap: Hampton Roads Academy Navigators vs. Nansemond-Suffolk Academy Saints        
        
		
            
 While Hampton Roads Academy couldn't quite beat Nansemond-Suffolk Academy on Monday, the two-point margin was a huge improvement compared to the 12-point  loss they were dealt  last Wednesday. The Hampton Roads Academy Navigators fell just short of the Nansemond-Suffolk Academy Saints by a score of  6-4. Hampton Roads Academy has now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
  Graham Hutchens made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  went 3-for-4 with four  RBI and a  double.  Colby Motley was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
 On Nansemond-Suffolk Academy's side,  Matthew Elswick tossed a big game,   striking out seven batters over  six innings while giving up  three earned runs off   five  hits. Elswick has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  tossed less than six  strikeouts in three consecutive pitching appearances.
 On the hitting side,  Gavin Angelillo was  incredible,  going 2-for-3 with two  stolen bases, three  RBI,  and a  double.
 Hampton Roads Academy now  has a losing record at 3-4. As for Nansemond-Suffolk Academy, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five games,  which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record  this season.
 Hampton Roads Academy will look to defend their home field  on Thursday against Norfolk Academy at 4:00  p.m. As for Nansemond-Suffolk Academy, they will  face off against Walsingham Academy at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
