Basketball Recap: Maquoketa Comes Up Short

Maquoketa was the 91-79 winner over Anamosa when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Maquoketa Cardinals fell to the Anamosa Raiders 62-56. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Maquoketa's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Anamosa, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Maquoketa and Beckman will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Anamosa, they will be home for the holidays to greet Camanche at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Anamosa is facing Camanche at the right time seeing as Camanche is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
