With a playoff win on the line, Virginia Academy rose to the challenge on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Hampton Roads Academy Navigators 78-46. The Patriots have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 games by 20 points or more this season.

Hampton Roads Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Nalani Carter, who shot 58% from the field on her way to 15 points and eight rebounds. The contest was her third in a row with at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Kenzie Cooper, who went 7-for-15 to rack up 14 points and seven boards.

The victory (which was Virginia Academy's eighth in a row) raised their record to 21-8. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 38.4 points. As for Hampton Roads Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 20-5.

Virginia Academy has already played their next matchup, a 62-56 win against Norfolk Christian on the 1st. Hampton Roads Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
