Soccer Recap: Aurora East Comes Up Short

Aurora East and Romeoville squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Aurora East had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 1-0. The matchup was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Aurora East couldn't quite close it out.

Aurora East has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-12-5 record this season. As for Romeoville, their victory bumped their record up to 10-14.

As of now, neither Aurora East nor the Spartans have any future games scheduled.
