Recap: Eagleville Eagles vs. Mt. Pleasant Tigers
The Eagleville Eagles had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 27 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They walked away with a 53-46 win over Mt. Pleasant. That's another feather in the cap for Eagleville, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Mt. Pleasant lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jakyri McClure, who scored nine points. Ryan Benderman was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with nine rebounds.
Eagleville is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for Mt. Pleasant, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-4.
