Volleyball Game Preview: Union Pines Vikings vs. J.H. Rose Rampants

The Union Pines Vikings will head out to challenge the J.H. Rose Rampants at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Union Pines is coming into the match hot, having won their last nine games.

Union Pines is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. Everything went their way against Swansboro as they made off with a 3-0 victory.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-15, 25-19.

Meanwhile, J.H. Rose got the win against East Chapel Hill on Thursday by a conclusive 3-0.

J.H. Rose never let East Chapel Hill on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-23, 25-18.

Union Pines' win bumped their record up to 24-2. As for J.H. Rose, their victory bumped their record up to 21-5.

Union Pines might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from J.H. Rose in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can the Vikings avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
