Softball Recap: Cherokee County Warriors vs. Hokes Bluff Eagles

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Plainview, Cherokee County was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Hokes Bluff Eagles a 5-0 shutout. The win continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won four in a row.

Sydni Frost made a splash while hitting and pitching. She tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two runs and one RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March.
