Soccer Game Preview: Westmoreland vs. Liberty Creek

For the first time this season, Westmoreland will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will head out to face off against the Liberty Creek Wolves at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Westmoreland is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They and Upperman finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw on Friday. The result (or lack thereof) marked Westmoreland's first draw of the season.

Meanwhile, Liberty Creek beat Signal Mountain 3-1 on Sunday.

Landon Socha and Cash Daniels scored all three of Liberty Creek's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 12 goals.

Liberty Creek's victory bumped their record up to 5-3-1. Westmoreland's draw makes their record 0-3-1 this season.

Westmoreland suffered a grim 10-1 defeat to Liberty Creek when the teams last played back in May of 2024. That match was all but decided by halftime, at which point Westmoreland was down 4-0.
