Recap: Juab Wasps vs. Emery Spartans
The Juab Wasps won the last time they faced the Emery Spartans, and things went their way on Thursday too. Juab walked away with a 60-50 win over Emery. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Juab.
Among those leading the charge was Lucy Richards, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 14 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Addison Hyatt, who scored 12 points.
Juab has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. As for Emery, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-7.
Juab will head out on the road to challenge Carbon at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Carbon's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last seven games. As for Emery, they will be playing at home against Delta at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Delta has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 15.
