The Dakota Indians had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Pearl City by a score of 37-27 on Thursday. That's another feather in the cap for Dakota, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.

Dakota's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Finley Banks led the charge by scoring seven points along with six rebounds and six steals. Banks has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Hailey Kerchner, who scored eight points.

Dakota's win bumped their record up to 9-15. As for Pearl City, their loss was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-19.

Dakota's road trip will continue as they head out to face Pearl City at 9:00 a.m. on January 27th. As for Pearl City, they will face off against Dakota at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Dakota focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 on Thursday.
