Baseball Game Preview: Byron Nelson Bobcat vs. Cleburne Yellowjackets

The Byron Nelson Bobcat will start their season against the Cleburne Yellowjackets. First pitch is scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Friday, Cleburne narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Kimball 2-1.

Cleburne pushed their record up to 1-0 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

As for Byron Nelson, they've got a clean slate this season. Last year, they finished on the wrong side of .500 (17-18), but they'll be hoping to turn things around this year.

Byron Nelson took their victory against Cleburne when the teams last played back in February of 2016 by a conclusive 15-9. The rematch might be a little tougher for Byron Nelson since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
