Meadowbrook Academy waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the Ocala Christian Crusaders as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Mustangs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Crusaders, too.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Meadowbrook Academy was: they took every set by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-13, 25-2.

ELIZABETH MARSHALL paced Meadowbrook Academy's offense, picking up ten kills. MARSHALL got some help from IVA FEARON and her 24 assists. FEARON was also solid from the service line: she led the team with eight aces.

Meadowbrook Academy's record now sits at 3-0. As for Ocala Christian, their defeat was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Meadowbrook Academy will welcome Redeemer Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Ocala Christian, they will venture away from home to face off against Countryside Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
