Polk County had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They came out on top against the Chase Trojans by a score of 8-3. That's more bragging rights for the Wolverines, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Gunnar Alm was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double. Alex Perry was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Polk County's win bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Chase, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 13 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season.

Polk County will have a chance to go back-to-back against Chase: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
